Felony arrests

Coercion — Charles Paul Buskirk Jr., 58, no known address. Medford police arrested Buskirk Monday on a felony charge of coercion and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment.  He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Timothy David Allen Jr., 40, of the 400 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Allen Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude in a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police on foot and second-degree theft, and for violating his parole on a prior meth-delivery conviction. He remained lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Sean Saipani Eli, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Eli Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Weapon Use — Michael Joseph Rottmann, 37, no known address. On Tuesday, Rottmann made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of menacing. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Savannah Jo Torrez, 33, of the 1400 block of Prune Street, Medford. On Tuesday, Torrez made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of delivering and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Adrian Ray Geyer, 43, of the 1600 block of Mill Creek Drive, Prospect. On Tuesday, Geyer made his initial court appearance on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Javier Zamarripa, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Zamarripa Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior conviction for possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Burglary — Richard Donald Steenken, 28, of the 400 block of Park Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Steenken Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a shoplift at 8:00 a.m. Monday. A TenPoint Renegade crossbow valued at $800 was reported stolen.

Vandalism — 400 block of West Fourth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to the vehicle at 8:44 a.m. Monday, in which the vehicle's hood and window were scratched. The damage was valued at $600.

Burglary — 600 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 11:26 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included two tile saws, a DeWalt drill and a handsaw. The loss was valued at $600.

Theft — 200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:37 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included two pair of prescription sunglasses, six music CDs, vehicle registration and paperwork, personal mail and Britt brochures. The loss was valued at $660.

Theft — 500 block of Spencer Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 4:16 p.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a black Coleman backpack with orange and red lettering and a blue binder containing a child's homework. The loss was valued at $80.

Theft — 1200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Mongoose Hotshot road bike at 9:46 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $200.

Burglary — 2000 block of Keene Way Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday. Damage to the exterior door was valued at $500.
