Felony arrests

Burglary — Benjamin Frederick Rowland, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Rowland Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order and second-degree theft. Rowland made a court appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a previous first-degree theft charge. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Aggravated Theft — Alexander J. Owens, 22, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Owens Wednesday on a felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, and for violating his probation on prior convictions for first-degree theft, possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin. He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Aggravated Theft — Joseph Robert Trahan, 23, of the 100 block of Landsiedel Lane, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Trahan Wednesday on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, and for violating his parole on a prior meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Bryan Anthony Rahn, 33, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Rahn Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault, on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, on a warrant for violating his parole on a prior heroin-delivery conviction and on out-of-county warrants for delivering and possessing heroin and possessing meth. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Theft — Stephen Alan Brewington, 63, no known address. On Thursday, Brewington made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Criminal Mischief — Justin Paul Oehme, 22, of the 1800 block of East Gregory Road, White City. On Thursday, Oehme made his initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree robbery and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 400 block of Park Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to two tires on a vehicle at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $200.

Theft — 2800 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen 3,600-watt generator at 9:19 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $1,700.

Theft — 400 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen building materials at 10:06 a.m. Thursday. About $510 worth of oriented strand board was reported stolen.

Burglary — 1200 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary at 12:14 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a Rolex watch and loose change, and panes of glass were damaged. The loss and damage was valued at $5,005.

Theft — 1000 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 1:58 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a silver medium-size rolling suitcase and miscellaneous clothing. The loss was valued at $230.
