Felony arrests

Supplying Contraband — Seth Daniel Morrow, 42, of the 300 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Morrow Tuesday on an additional felony charge of supplying contraband. Medford police originally arrested Morrow Oct. 13 on warrants for failing to appear in court on prior meth-possession and vehicle-theft charges, and for violating his parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail.

Assault — William James Kennedy III, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Kennedy Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor charges of strangulation and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Coercion — Paul Clayborne Guthrie, 29, of the 2000 block of Rogue River Highway, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Guthrie Tuesday on a felony charge of coercion and a misdemeanor charge of menacing. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $12,500 bail.

Money Laundering — Kai Cadarette-Stewart, 27, of the 1300 block of China Gulch Road, Jacksonville. On Tuesday, Cadarette-Stewart made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of laundering a monetary instrument and conspiring to import or export marijuana, and a misdemeanor charge of conspiring to deliver marijuana. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Weapons — Jaimey Scott Faber, 24, of the 1400 block of South Obenchain Road, Eagle Point. On Tuesday, Faber made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Weapons — Ashley Nicole Delong, 25, of the 1400 block of South Obenchain Road, Eagle Point. On Tuesday, Delong made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Promoting Prostitution — Janelle Anne Silver, 24, of the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford. On Tuesday, Silver made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of promoting prostitution and a misdemeanor charge of prostitution. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Promoting Prostitution — Ronnie Darrell Mays, 21, of the 1100 block of West 11th Street, Medford. On Tuesday, Mays made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of promoting prostitution. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Crime reports

Theft — 3100 block of Alameda Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:01 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a Dell laptop, a flute, school books, a makeup bag and two backpacks. The loss was valued at $1,250.

Theft — 3800 block of Arrowhead Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen prescription medication at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $710.

Theft — 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen purple vinyl purse and metallic pink cell phone at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $895.
