Yesterday, my Rogue Disposal bill arrived without the customary fall announcement of the routes to be taken by the bagged leaf collectors. Has some other facility taken that job over? Has no facility taken that job over? And if some facility is going to do that job, where can we find the dates the leaves will be picked up in our area?

— Joan S., Medford

Your timing is close to perfect, Joan, because the city's annual leaf collection program began Monday and runs through Dec. 29, and Rogue Disposal is still doing the pickups.

The dates your neighborhood will be serviced depends on your location. People who live in the North Zone (basically north of Main and Hillcrest) will be picked up the weeks of Nov. 6-10, Nov. 27-Dec. 1 and Dec. 18-22. People in the South Zone will be picked up the weeks of Nov. 13-17, Dec. 4-8 and Dec. 26-29.

To download a flier with all the details, go to Rogue Disposal's website at https://roguedisposal.com. You also can reach Rogue Disposal at 541-779-4161.

On the weeks the trucks are in your neighborhood, the leaves should be at the curb by 6:30 a.m. Monday, according to the website. The leaves will be collected sometime during that week, and not necessarily on the day your trash is picked up.

Also, Joan, the leaves must be bagged. There's a 40-pound limit for bags, and they can't be bigger than 33 gallons. There is no limit to the number of bags that can be put out.
