Felony arrests

Assault — Thomas Lee Weeks, 32, of the 7900 block of East Antelope Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Weeks Friday on a felony warrant charging him with fourth-degree assault, misdemeanor charges of harassment and contempt of court for violating a no-contact order, and misdemeanor warrants on charges of harassment and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday after posting bail.

Assault — Jesse Joseph Grogan Sr., 43, no known address. Ashland police arrested Grogan Friday on a felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Contraband — Cody Victor Sly, 23, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sly Saturday on a felony charge of supplying contraband, on misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on prior charges of possessing heroin, methamphetamine and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $30,500 bail.

Impaired Driving — Clarence Henry VanSteenberghe, 25, of the 1000 block of Fairfield Avenue, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested VanSteenberghe Saturday on a felony charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and misdemeanor counts of driving while suspended and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday after posting bail.

Driving while Suspended — Floyd Julius Bennett, 59, of the first block of Wimer Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Bennett Saturday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked, and for violating his probation on three prior driving under the influence of intoxicants convictions. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $30,000 bail.

Drugs — Jacob Carl Lyon, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Lyon Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of interfering with police, littering and providing false information to police. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $20,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Patrick Simon Sesock Jr., 36, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sesock Saturday on felony warrants charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $20,000 bail.

Burglary — Allen La Rell Stansell, 30, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Stansell Saturday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor counts of possessing burglary tools and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Saturday.

Burglary — Jessyca Marie Harper, 38, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Harper Saturday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and possessing burglary tools.
