Medford police arrested Arnold Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor counts of reckless endangering and contempt of court. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday on $15,500 bail.
Vehicle Theft — Cody Ross Cruse, 37, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Cruse Saturday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing oxycodone and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear on a prior criminal citation. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.
Theft — 2400 block of Whittle Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of seven heating blankets stolen at 10:32 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $425.
Theft — 3300 block of Alameda Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen sterling silverware and jewelry at 11:08 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $25,000.
Burglary — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 8:56 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included two phones. The loss and damage to a window was valued at $500.
Theft — 2100 block of Martin Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 11:40 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included a tan backpack containing clothes and a black-and-red pair of headphones. The loss and damage to the vehicle's right rear window was valued at $500.
