Felony arrests

Robbery — Nicholas Trey Jordan, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Jordan Tuesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery.  Jackson County Circuit Court charged him Thursday with additional misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft and harassment. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Kyle Joseph Hayes, 30, of Portland. Talent police arrested Hayes Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on out-of-county warrants for failing to appear in court on a contempt of court charge and for violating his probation on prior driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangering and a weapons offense conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Theft — Aaron Lloyd Smith, 37, of the 1200 block of Heather Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Smith Wednesday on five felony counts of first-degree theft an a misdemeanor count of selling a prohibited item as unused property. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $45,000 bail.

Drugs —  Rhonda Faye Driskell, 58, of the 1100 block of East Tenth Street, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Driskell Wednesday on felony charges of delivering, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 1500 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a window at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $500.

Vandalism — 600 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to a building at 11:17 a.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $350.

Theft — 200 block of Oak Grove Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included three finish nailguns, a Ridgid nailer, a Husky air compressor and a Craftsman electrical saw. The loss was valued at $1,275.

Burglary — 600 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a black gun with rubber grips in a fabric zipper case and a black Sentry safe. The loss and damage to a fence was valued at $850.

Robbery — 2400 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a robbery to a business at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included Adidas shoes, Adidas shorts and two shorts. The loss was valued at $156.

Theft — 900 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police took a report of a brown purse stolen from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $200.

Theft — first block of Summit Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle theft at 2:32 a.m. Wednesday. Items inside the vehicle included a large Miele vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies and a professional mop. The items in the vehicle were valued at $950.

Theft — 100 block of Purdue Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:43 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a pair of prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses and a Norelco electric shaver. The loss was valued at $452.
