Felony arrests

Attempted Assault — Carol Ann Evans, 56, of the 3500 block of Arrowhead Drive, Talent. Medford police arrested Evans Wednesday on felony charges attempted first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $100,000 bail.

Drugs — Deshawn Lindsey Woods, 25, of Stockton, California. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Woods Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $50,000 bail.

Drugs — Christopher John Evans, 25, of Stockton, California. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Evans Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $50,000 bail.

Theft — Corey Vincent Vierra, 27, of Citrus Heights, California. On Thursday, Vierra made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Assault — Heather Jeanne Carroll, 42, of the 1100 block of Ashland Mine Road, Ashland. On Thursday, Carroll made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Theft — Ricki James Loftis, 23, of the 3200 block of Griffin Creek Road, Medford. On Thursday, Loftis made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Nile Eugene White Jr., 63, no known address. On Thursday, White made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Sex Offender Registration — James Lee Goodell, 45, of the 900 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Goodell Thursday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior second-degree theft charge. He was lodged in jail  Thursday on $10,500 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Ronald Glenn Pollock, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Pollock Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior methamphetamine-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Andrew Lee Tunnell, 29, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Tunnell Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 3300 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 3:17 a.m. Wednesday. Two full-sized double-pane glass doors were reported damaged, and the damage was valued at $1,100.

Theft — East Barnett Road near the Bear Creek Greenway, Medford. Medford police took a report of missing food stamp card and child's ashes at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday.

Theft — 1200 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen jewelry at 10:37 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included two Citizen EcoDrive watches and two gold necklaces. The loss was valued at $2,950.

Burglary — 200 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary to a business at 5:01 a.m. Thursday. A large lass door was reported broken and a small security safe was reported stolen. The loss and damage was valued at $400.

Theft — 500 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 7:52 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included five CDs, a USB flash drive and part of the vehicle's ignition assembly. The loss and damage was valued at $405.

Vandalism — Greenwood Street and Ellendale Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft and vandalism to a vehicle at 9:13 a.m. Thursday. A vehicle's gas tank was reported vandalized, and fuel was reported stolen. The loss and damage was valued at $660.

Theft — 2500 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 11:22 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a miscellaneous necklaces and pendants. The loss was valued at $3,700.
