Felony arrests

Driving under the influence — Eli Antanas Baker, 35, no known address. Ashland police arrested Baker on a felony DUII count and misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, driving while suspended, interfering with a police officer report and reckless driving. He was booked into the Jackson County jail and released on his own recognizance.

Elude — Aryel Lynn Arritola, 22, of the 500 block of Mountain View Drive, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Arritola on a felony count of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and misdemeanor counts of reckless driving and criminal mischief. She was booked into the jail and released on her own recognizance.

Animal abuse — Corey James Elmore, 28, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies arrested Elmore Sunday on two felony counts of aggravated animal abuse and a felony count of attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was also charged with possession of meth and oxycodone, parole violation for identity theft and misdemeanor counts of reckless driving, criminal mischief and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in the jail without bail.

Aggravated harassment — Heather Sue Collum, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Collum on a felony count of aggravated harassment, misdemeanor counts of trespass and disorderly conduct and on failures to appear for reporting false information, burglary and resisting arrest. She was lodged in the jail on $26,500 bail.

 

Crime report

Theft — The corner of Powell St. and Temple Drive, Medford. Police responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred at 6 p.m. Feb. 9. Various tools were stolen, including a DeWALT radio, impact driver and cordless tool set with batteries and a charger, as well as a BOSTITCH finish nail gun. The loss was valued at $1,300.
