Felony arrests

Burglary — Ariel Lynette Nehring, 27, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Nehring on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. She was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Kendra Lean Linton, 19, of the 300 block of Orr Drive, Central Point. Linton made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of heroin and methamphetamine. She was booked Monday in jail and released.

Assault — Steven Levell Tate, 29, of the 700 block of Cascade Drive, Central Point. Medford police Sunday arrested Tate on charges of third-degree and fourth-degree assault, harassment, possession of methamphetamine and warrants charging him with possession of methamphetamine and oxycodone. He was lodged Monday in jail on $40,000 bail.

Assault — Jorge Alejand Malfoban-Padilla, 36, of the 1200 block of Bens Lane, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Malfoban-Padilla on charges of third- and fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged Monday in jail on $100,000 bail.

Drugs — Benjamin Otis Overstone, 23, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Overstone on a charge of possession of heroin and violating the conditions of his probation from a previous vehicle-theft arrest. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Drugs — Charles D. Miller III, 33, no known address. Central Point police Monday arrested Miller on charges of possession of heroin and methamphetamine and mail theft. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Vehicle theft — Auston Lee Lindsey, 23, of the 1800 block of Marsh Lane, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Lindsey on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and second-degree trespass. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Brandon David Gonzalez, 32, of the 100 block of Bliss Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Gonzalez on charges of possession of heroin, interfering with a police report, second-degree criminal mischief and for failing to appear on drug and other charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $27,500 bail.

Drugs — Matthew James Pearson, 28, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Pearson on a warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine as well as a new charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Burglary — Waring Park, 77, no known address. Ashland police Monday arrested Park on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft and on warrants charging him with failing to appear on heft charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $9,500 bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 2200 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:56 a.m. Sunday of a smashed window on a vehicle from which three 12-packs of diet soda were stolen. The loss was valued at $315.

Burglary — 1600 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 5:05 a.m. Monday of a burglary to a business from which two cash-register drawers and several packs of cigarettes were taken. The loss was valued at $601.

Theft — 200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:05 a.m. Monday of the theft of a laptop computer from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,100.
