Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17,  at the church in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Matins prayers will be offered at 8 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. A meat-free potluck meal featuring dairy foods will be shared after the services. The last part of the Great Canon of St. Andrew will be prayed with the Compline service at 6 p.m. At 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, the Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts will be served, followed by a Moleben to St. Theodore the Recruit. Community Celtic Evensong and Communion will be offered at 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 18, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 N. Second St., Ashland.  This "Holy Hungering" is the theme of the quiet, candlelight and reflective service that includes Celtic harp, poetry, readings and music. The Rev. First Presbyterian Church, Medford

Pastor Murray Richmond will speak at the 8:30 a.m. informal service and the 10:30 a.m. traditional service Sunday, Feb. 18, at First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., in Medford.
