Felony arrests

Assault — Tisha Faye Wilkie, 37, of the 1100 block of East 10th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Wilkie Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree domestic violence assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday on $10,000 bail.

Hit-and-Run — Brian Grant Nichols, 60, of the 300 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Nichols Friday on felony charges of hit-and-run to an injured person, third-degree assault, driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended or revoked, misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run and reckless driving, a warrant for violating his parole on a previous driving under the influence of intoxicants charge and on a California fugitive warrant. He remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Assault — Kurt Allen Elmore, 52, no known address. Central Point police arrested Elmore Saturday on felony charges of fourth-degree domestic violence assault and fourth-degre assault witnessed by a minor. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $15,000 bail.

Officer Assault — Joshua James Bodine, 24, of the 700 block of Agate Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Bodine Saturday on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer, and on misdemeanor charges of first-degree disorderly conduct, interfering with police, resisting arrest, second-degree trespassing and harassment. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $35,000 bail.

Sex Offender — Daniel James Burda, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Burda Saturday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and for violating his parole on a prior third-degree sodomy conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Identity Theft — Jessica Leigh Moody, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Moody Saturday on a felony charge of identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of attempted first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 100 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:47 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included two gray backpacks, a track uniform, miscellaneous clothing and schoolwork. The loss was valued at $300.

Theft — 1900 block of Elm Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 9:57 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included jewelry, women’s clothing, pet products, a birth certificate and the vehicle’s title. The loss and damage to a window was valued at $1,500.
