October 27, 1927 - March 10, 2017

Deloris Lorraine Davis Grissom, 89 of Lake Creek, Ore., went home to be with the Lord March 10, 2017. Deloris, much loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born October 27, 1927 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Alfred S. and Lillian M. Davis.

Deloris was a 1945 graduate of Medford High School. She worked for many years for the First National Bank, White City; and School District #9, Eagle Point, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Antelope Union Sunday School, where she served as secretary-treasurer and the Antelope Ladies Club, Eagle Point.

Deloris enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and her family.

On June 5, 1955 in Eagle Point, Ore. she married Donald James Grissom. Survivors include three daughters, DeAnna Ross, Central Point; Debra Dean, Eagle, Idaho; Tami Alleman (Dave), Eugene, Ore.; two sons, Gregg Grissom (Ramie) and Scott Grissom (Georgiann), Lake Creek; 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Maloney, Lake Creek and Sharon Griggs (Jim), Middleton, Idaho; including Sandra Grissom Reynolds who was a special family member.

Her parents, husband, Don; son, Marc; grandson, Ryan Ross; and brother-in-law, Elmer Maloney preceded her in death.

The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point, Ore. The celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, 12:30PM at the Eagle Point Community Bible Church, 27 Shasta Avenue, Eagle Point, Ore. with a potluck to follow.
