September 9, 1924 - March 8, 2017

Lois Mildred Warren, 92, of Medford, Oregon passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, March 8, 2017. She was born September 9, 1924 in Charleston, Illinois to Robert and Velma (Hardway) Andres.

She married Kennedy Warren January 1946. They met when Ken told Lois she could walk him home after she got off work. They continued to walk together for the next 50 years.

Although Lois never made a newspaper headline, graduated Summa cum laude, or burned her bra, she was a woman of strong values. Honesty (our pants really were on fire if she caught us kids in a lie); pay your bills when due; show up on time; and if you make an agreement, honor it.

Lois worked as a personal secretary and later as medical affairs secretary for RVMC for 22 years. A job she truly enjoyed.

Mom read us the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, woke up in the middle of the night to give us our medicine when we were sick, and made sure we always had a warm winter coat and well-fitting shoes.

She loved mystery books, crossword puzzles, Perry Mason, and the Chicago Cubs.

Blessed with a kind, loving husband, two much-loved grandchildren, and three well behaved, adorable children, Lois lived a long and happy life.

Lois is survived by her son, David Warren; daughter, Sarah Pearson; grandson, Greg Reynolds; and granddaughter, Ashleigh Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, sister, and youngest son, Thomas.
