February 27, 1934 - July 3, 2017 

Robert Lowell Webster, 83, passed away July 3, 2017. Bob was born February 27, 1934 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Fred and Viola Webster. 

The family moved to the Los Angeles area in California where he and his two brothers, Don and Virgil, were raised and went to high school. When Bob turned 18 he joined the Marine Corps and during his boot camp leave married the love of his life, Anita (Pitts) Webster June 3, 1952 in Yuma, Arizona. 

Bob continued his duty as an MP in the marines during his tour in Korea with Charlie Company First Battalion, Fifth Marines, First Marine Division. He stayed with the marines until his honorable discharge in 1955. 

In 1959 he moved his family to Trail, Ore. where they raised their three children, Kathleen, Donald, and Aleen. Bob and Anita were married for 64 years until Anita passed away January 12, 2015 at home with her family by her side. 

Bob worked at the Ford Trail Creek Mill for six years until he moved on to construction, which he worked until he retired at the age of 72. 

He is survived by his son, Donald and daughter-in-law Leslie; his 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, and both of his daughters.

Bob had a wonderful life full of many happy times; he was surrounded by both loving family and friends. He was a very outgoing, happy, and friendly person.  Plainly put he was simply a likeable guy; he will sorely be missed by all.
