August 22, 1947 - August 25, 2017

Lillian Sampson Grasham passed away August 25, 2017 in Medford, Oregon due to a long illness. She was born August 22, 1947 in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Lillian grew up in Pembroke, N.C. where she joined the army in 1965. She served in Vietnam from 1967-1968 as a typist clerk. Upon leaving the military in 1968, she pursued her career in the banking industry.

Lillian married Gordon Lee Craig who had two sons, Larry and Grady Craig. She later married Paul Grasham who preceded her in death.

Her survivors include her sisters, Minnie Holmes of Detroit, Michigan, Monnie Jean Sampson Gray of Fayetteville, N.C., Carol Jane Sampson Carmain of Lillington, N.C.; her sons, Larry Craig of Salem, Ore. and Grady Craig of Medford, Ore.; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and seven brothers.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her residence in Medford. Graveside services will be held at a later date and time.
