He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Ellen Shores in 1944 and together they raised their three children, Donna Poulos Cook (now living in Beaverton, Ore.), Carolyn Poulos Caulkins (deceased), and Jay Robert Poulos (married to Janet and now living in Salem, Ore.).

Jerry and Nancy lived in the Medford/Central Point, Ore. area for 58 years before moving to Keizer, Ore. to be near their children.
Jerry will be missed by his family and friends and especially his wife, Nancy, to whom he was married for 72 years. Jerry is survived by two children, Jay Robert Poulos and Donna Lee Cook; seven grandchildren; and nine surviving great-grandchildren.
