Diana Jane Urban Klippel Wadsworth, 77, passed away October 29, 2017 at her home in Medford, Oregon. She was born March 16, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Leona and Walter Urban. Upon parental divorce and remarriage, she was adopted by Edgar Klippel.

Diana moved to Corvallis, Ore. to attend Oregon State University, majoring in medical technology. In college, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, vice president of the Panhellenic Council, and was a yearbook staff member. After her graduation in 1962, she married Paul Allen Wadsworth in Corvallis, and they moved to Medford in 1964.

Diana worked in hospitals and medical clinics in Corvallis and Medford until 1972. She and her husband were part owners of the Central Point Pharmacy in the 1970s. In 1986, she became a licensed tax preparer, which she continued doing, along with bookkeeping, until her death.

Diana was a lifetime member of Girl Scouts, working in both volunteer and paid positions for 15 years. Other interests included Medford American Little League, United Way, Medford schools, and First Presbyterian Church. She was a 1990 Oregon Spirit Award winner for her volunteer efforts. In June, 1988, a car accident left her a quadriplegic.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen L. Barton (Craig) of Portland, Ore. and two grandchildren, Ethan and Adam Barton. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Wadsworth in October 1979 and her daughter, Susan K. Wadsworth, in June 1988.
