Lee Joyner, 78, of Phoenix, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center from complications of kidney failure. He was born in Oilton, Oklahoma to Durwood Morris (Tarb) and Lura Ethel Howe Joyner. The family moved to Oregon in 1941.
Lee graduated from Monroe High School in Monroe, Oregon in 1957. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1962, with a bachelor degree in business. He started his career at National First Bank and retired with Award Mortgage. He touched the lives of many who became friends.
Lee loved to play golf and spent many hours golfing at Rogue Valley Country Club with his sons, Sheldon and Tony, and Mary, his wife. He will be dearly missed by family and his many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mary Joyner; his step-sons, Brian Morris and Justin Gunn; his sister, Joan (Loren) Malcom of Salem; and his sons, Tony of Eugene and Sheldon of San Diego. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ray.
