George A. McGahuey, 79, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 in Medford, Oregon.

George served in the United States Army from 1954-1957, then became a truck driver. He loved fly fishing, hunting, gold panning, crabbing, and camping.

George was a loving dad, grandpa, brother, husband, and friend, and he will be truly missed.

George is survived by his sister, Elsie Terris; his children, Tim McGahuey, Patti Williams, Paul McGahuey, Jerry McGahuey, and Ben McGahuey; his stepchildren, Don McCullough, Mary Davis, and Mike McCullough; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanford and Lola; brothers, Calvin and Robert; sister, Betty-Jean; step-sisters, Vera and Ellen; son, David; and his wife, Beverley.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore.
