Chris Seto scored three early goals and the Southern Oregon Spartans rolled to a 6-2 Western States Hockey League victory over the Vancouver Rangers Friday at The RRRink.

Seto scored twice in the first period, then tallied again with 14:47 left in the second as the Spartans grabbed a 3-0 advantage. They upped it to 5-0 with goals by Cy Jenson and Matej Valicek before Vancouver got on the board with 7:52 to play in the second.

Southern Oregon, which got its final goal from Jake Eubank in the second, improved to 16-4 and remains second in the Northwest Division behind the Idaho Junior Steelheads (18-2).

Cameron Seto had three assists for the Spartans, including two on goals by his brother. Cameron Cross added two assists, and Jacob Elik and Dallen Neese each had one.

Vancouver's scores came from Kevin Hodsdon and Zachary Kippe.

The teams meet again at 7:30 tonight at The RRRink.
