Yuba City, Calif. — The Medford Rogues registered their third win in the four-game series against the Yuba City Bears with a 9-3 victory in Great West League play Thursday.

Josh Berman led the Rogues attack with two hits, two runs and two RBIs. Berman hit his second home run of the season with a solo shot in the fourth inning.

Medford (6-4) erased a one-run deficit and took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. Davis Delorefice opened with a single and Berman walked. Dante Gutierrez’s single knocked in two runs and Connor Lowrie had an RBI single.

Lowrie and Jake Gozzo each contributed two hits and two RBIs and Delorefice had two hits for Medford.

Starting pitcher Jaiden France went five innings to pick up the win. France allowed five hits and five runs and struck out five.

The Rogues open a three-game road series against the Lincoln Potters at 7:05 tonight.

MEDFORD MUSTANGS 19, KLAMATH FALLS FALCONS 8: At Klamath Falls, Joe Johnson hit a grand slam and picked up the victory on the mound in an American Legion AAA non-league game at Kiger Field.

The Medford Mustangs (3-1) collected 17 hits and led 13-0 after three innings.

Jacob Melton sparked Medford’s offense with three hits, four runs and two RBIs. Brennen Watts added three hits and Johnson had two hits and five RBIs. Dylan Marsh chipped in two hits, two RBIs and two runs for Medford.

NORTH JACKSON 10, NORTH MEDFORD 2: Dominic Fontana pitched six strong innings and led the offense for the North Jackson Royals in American Legion A Area 4 South action.

Rain showers made the The Yard at Eagle Point High unplayable so the game was moved to North Medford High but the Royals were still the home team.

Fontana (1-0) allowed seven hits with three strikeouts and one walk. The only run he surrendered was unearned.

Fontana paced the Royals’ 11-hit attack with a 3-for-4, two RBI effort.

Andrew Schriener collected two hits, including a two-RBI double in North Jackson’s four-run first inning.

Braxton Barnes and Joe Vondolaski also added two hits each for the Royals (1-1 Area 4).

Josh Robbins led North Medford with two hits and one RBI.
