Poor air quality has resulted in several sporting event changes this weekend, including football.

And more alterations might be on the way.

The North Medford, Crater, Eagle Point and St. Mary's football teams are among those who have had their sites or dates moved.

North Medford, as announced previously, will play at Shasta High in Redding, California. The game, orignally scheduled for Friday at Spiegelberg Stadium, is now slated for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Crater's home game against South Albany on Friday will now be played at 7 p.m. Friday at South Albany.

Eagle Point's game at Ridgeview in Redmond on Friday has been switched to Klamath Union High in Klamath Falls at 7 p.m. Friday.

St. Mary's was to play at home Saturday, but it's game against Harrisburg will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Coquille High.

The fate of several other games remained uncertain.

Ashland is scheduled to host Summit at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies' athletic department sent a notice to season ticket holders that if the game can't go as scheduled, it could be moved to Saturday at Summit, at Lakeview or it could be canceled. A decision is expected midday Friday.

No decision had been announced regarding the Aloha at Grants Pass game.

In soccer, Crater's boys match scheduled for home on Saturday will move to Marshfield for a 1 p.m. start. St. Mary's girl's Saturday home match against Henley has been moved 6:30 p.m. today indoors at Klamath Falls.
