I'm really pleased with the way we wrestled, said Southern Oregon coach Mike Ritchey. We did the right things at the right times. We're improving every day.
The Lutes won at 142 and 150 to crawl back into the match before Southern Oregon reeled off five straight wins.
It was good for our guys' confidence to rip somebody pretty good, said Ritchey. I think they needed that.
