Schneider to attend Western Baptist

Crater High's Teri Schneider has decided to attend and play women's basketball at NAIA Division II Western Baptist College in Salem.

Schneider, a 6-foot forward, averaged 9.2 points and 4.5 rebounds this season and helped the Comets to their third straight Southern Oregon Conference title and a second-place finish at the 1998 state tournament.

I am very excited to have Teri at our college and in our women's basketball program, said Western Baptist coach Terry Williams. Coming through the well-coached Crater program and capping it off with a second place finish in the state tournament, Teri brings great tools and a winning attitude to our program.
