Sharpe, Kincaid tandem tops Super Senior field
Razor Sharpe and Bob Kincaid combined to win the first flight in the Stoneridge Super Seniors two-man best ball golf tournament. The duo carded a 70 to finish first in gross competition.
In the second flight, Gordy Carrigan and Bert Williams combined to card a 73 for first in gross competition.

Hewlett scores ace Oaks No. 8 at RVCC
Jack Hewlett fired an ace Saturday at the 173-yard, eighth hole on the Oaks course at Rogue Valley Country Club.
The 42-year-old Medford resident was playing from the gold tees with Mark Phelps and Hal Borg.
North-Ashland football tickets on sale Wednesday
Ashland High will pre-sell unlimited general admission tickets to Friday's North Medford- Ashland football game in the large gym lobby Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
Prices are $4 for adults and $2 for students kindergarten through high school. No checks will be accepted.
The ticket booth will open Friday at 5:30 p.m., and gates open at 6 p.m.
Stewart Meadows quartet takes second
A team representing Stewart Meadows Golf Course of Medford placed second in the 12th annual John Deere Team Championship at the Bend Golf and Country Club.
Head professional Dan Coughlin, Rod Smith, Rick Monday and Tim Trower shot a net score of 13-under-par 59, one stroke behind defending champion Longview (Wash.) Country Club.
Pros played their own ball, while amateurs played a scramble. The best score on each hole was used.
There were 16 teams in the qualifying tournament for Northwest golf clubs. Longview earned a berth to the national finals at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. Nov. 12-15.
