Rogue Valley Soccer Club's Magic under-17 team invaded the U-19 ranks in the Sixth Annual Rogue Valley Cup Soccer Tournament Saturday.

Paced by Eagle Point High's Stephanie Lucas and North Medford's Lu Crenshaw, the Magic blanked CUSC Sierra Fire of Sparks, Nev., 4-0.

In its second outing, the Magic shutout Oregon West of Corvallis, 2-0. Crenshaw netted a penalty kick and Tennile Bennett struck for a goal.

In U-16 girls play, RVSC's Blackhawks, also playing up an age group, cruised by the Rail City Lightning, 3-1, picking up goals from Erin Reno, Julie Elbon and Lisa Munyon. The Blackhawks then tied LOSC Maasia of Lake Oswego, 1-1. Maasia led 1-0 at halftime before Reno tied it midway through the second half.

The Rogue United defeated CSUC United of Carson City, 1-0, on a goal by Kali Warren. Rogue United followed with a 3-0 win over Capital Sol of Salem. Mallory Enoch, Warren and Colleen Salisbury scored goals.

The U-19 RVSC Marauders played to a scoreless tie against the C.V. Blackhawks in their first game. The Marauders then broke loose for a 4-0 win over Redding's KAOS. Jake Wallin and Anthony Machado scored for the Blackhawks.

There were 125 games involving 133 teams Saturday and more than 125 are on the docket today on 15 fields at six venues.
