Bill Pierce

scored a double eagle on the 15th hole at Cedar Links Golf Course on Oct. 14.

Striking a pair of pretty shots with his 5-wood, Pierce became one of only a select few to hole out in 2 on the 15th. Lathrop Sleezer and Steve Cox were witnesses.

Dan Bowen

dropped a hole-in-one at Red Mountain Golf Course on Oct. 4.

Swinging his pitching wedge from 92 yards out on the first hole, Bowen recorded the second ace of his life in front of Rick Sharrard, Ron Coolish, John Lesisz, Ned Culver, Doug Dean and Don Sharrard.

Richard Doyle

of Jacksonville notched his first hole-in-one recently on the 15th hole at the Running Y Ranch Resort in Klamath Falls.

Doyle, who has played for 3&

189; years, used an 8-iron on the 167-yard hole. His playing partners were Tim Bossard and Gary McTevia.

Melissa Eilenberger

and Chuck Eilenberger

teamed up to win the Butler Truck Center Over-Under Doubles Tournament at Lava Lanes on Oct. 6.

The Eilenbergers won the matchplay finals match with a 222 game. They advanced with a 277 game in the semifinals.

Klamath Falls' Brian Tinsley was the high shooter in the tournament with an 802 series.

Glen Bostrom

fired the first 300 game at the newly remodeled Medford Lanes.

Bostrom, bowling in the Invitational League, added games of 179 and 236 for a 715 series. It was his fourth-ever 300 game.

Mike Henderson

registered his first 300 game in the Tuesday Nighters League at Lava Lanes.

Henderson, who carries a 193 average, also rolled games of 200 and 207 for a 707 series.

The Wewannawin Team won first place in the Oregon State 600 Tournament in Florence recently.

Wewannawin, made up by Tracy Caster, Bonnie Clark, Gloria Harper

and Becky Roberts, finished with a 2,799 total.

Mony Bristow

shot 11 straight strikes to finish with a 279 game in the Rogue League at Lava Lanes.

Junior Bowler April Everist,

a studen at Crater High, posted her high series of 666 in the Generation X League at Lava Lanes.

Everist, who holds a 187 average, rolled games of 240, 229 and 199.
