Crusaders continue SCL domination with victory over Chiloquin

Three seniors reached double figures to lead St. Mary's to a 65-36 Southern Cascade League boys basketball win over Chiloquin Friday.

The Crusaders improved to 12-0 in league as Michael Fiddler and Warren Cooper each produced 16 points and Greg Gradwell added 14.

Cooper and Fiddler also had 11 rebounds apiece.

St. Mary's held a 28-22 halftime lead, then outscored Chiloquin 21-4 in the third period.

We were lethargic in the first half, said Crusaders coach Tim Pflug. We came out in the second half and scored on several fastbreak opportunities and played some pretty good defense.

St. Mary's collected 16 steals, led by Cooper with four.

I thought Warren played very aggressive, said Pflug. He can rebound with the best of them and has a nose for the ball.
