Honor Roll


The South Medford White boys eighth-grade AAU basketball team finished the season 20-0 after winning the Southern Oregon League tournament on Sunday in Phoenix.

South defeated Klamath Union, 86-64, in the championship game behind Mike Harthun's

29 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists.

In the seventh-grade final, North Medford Black defeated North Medford Red on Saturday.

In the sixth-grade title game, Ashland Red closed out league play with a 14-0 record following a 50-42 victory over North Medford Red at South Medford High on Sunday.

The senior prep team representing Rogue Valley TNT Cheer finished first in two events recently.

Rogue Valley TNT grabbed first at the OCCA's Oregon Classic and at the Cheer Spirit Athletics Northwest Invitational.

Members of the team include Amanda Brite, Robbie Burtner, Amanda Cox, Ashley Guevarra, Sandra Hoff, Haley McNerney, Christy Miller, Savannah Petee, China Peterson, Kelly Sparacio, Meagan West

and Chloe Zallen


The junior prep team finished second at the UCA Nike Cup Invitational.

Individually, Rogue Valley team member Sadie Handloser

finished third at the Oregon State University Bring It competition and second at the OCAA's Oregon Classic.

Other junior prep team members are Chrislyn Cartwright, Alli Colmenero, Katie Geidans, Angelique Guches, Cassity Mega

and Alexis Paperman.


Tyler Ellis

posted a 773 series in the Scholarship League at Medford Lanes. Ellis rolled games of 249, 235 and 289.

Junior bowler Billy Gerber

rolled a 752 series with games of 239, 257 and 256 at Roxy Ann Lanes.
