Ashland woman, 21, cited for DUII-alcohol and hit-and-run, Siskiyou Boulevard at Faith Street. The woman caused property damage to a telephone pole when her vehicle struck it. She fled the scene and officers followed the trail of vehicle fluid to find her.

Ashland woman, unknown age, cited for breaking into a vehicle and theft, B and First streets. The woman entered the locked vehicle through an open window and unlocked a door to liberate a dog that had been left inside the vehicle.
Two transient men, ages 38 and 23, cited for prohibited camping behind Shop-N-Kart, 2200 block of Ashland Street.

Credit card stolen from a vehicle parked on the 800 block of Cypress Point Loop. The card, which was stolen between 9:15 p.m. Friday and 5:20 a.m. Saturday, was used at several ATMs. The case is under investigation.

Fishing pole and various tackle items stolen from a vehicle parked on the 700 block of Salishan Court. The theft occurred between 11 p.m. Friday and 3:25 a.m. Saturday.

Transient man, 37, arrested for trespassing in Taco Bell, 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. The man was also cited for possession of cocaine. He was taken to Jackson County Jail.

Woman, 100, died of natural causes at the Mountain View Retirement Center, 500 block of North Main Street.

Man, 21, cited for open container of alcohol on the front lawn of Lithia Park. The man also had several warrants out for his arrest and was taken to Jackson County Jail on those charges.

Transient man, 22, cited for having an animal in Lithia Park.

Transient man, 25, cited for theft, 2200 block of Ashland Street. He was in possession of a shirt stolen from Bi-Mart. A second transient man had stolen the shirt. That man was cited for theft and trespassing because store employees had told him Wednesday that he was no longer welcome in the business.

Transient man, 34, cited for open container of alcohol in public on Lithia Way near Oak Street. He was drinking while sitting near the RVTD bus stop.
July 26, 11:18 a.m. &
Bank deposit bag holding an unknown amount of cash and checks, stolen from an unlocked safe in an unlocked office at Lithia Fountain and Grill, 300 block of East Main Street. The theft occurred on July 23 or 24.

Slow-moving grass fire, Interstate 5 southbound at milepost 11. The fire burned approximately a quarter acre.
