Meth bust in city

A Drug Enforcement Agent arrested a 25-year-old Ashland man after the suspect tried to sell drugs to an undercover agent at Albertsons in Central Point.

It started in Central Point and led to Ashland, where they seized more methamphetamine, cash and a handgun,&

Ashland Police Department Sgt. Teresa Selby said.

Agents followed Michael Alan Edward Ogorman back to his home at 1035 Eureka St.

5. They confiscated approximately an ounce of methamphetamine and close to $2,000 cash.

s 21-year-old girlfriend and their 6-month-old daughter were with him when officers arrested him on possession of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a child. He was taken to Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $19,000 bail.

Selby was not sure how long agents were working on Ogorman or if he cooked methamphetamine at apartment.

Manufacturing can be just cutting it and placing it baggies, weighing it,&

she said, adding meth use in Ashland &

is not unusual.&
