Senior-laden Eagles rout Panthers in SOC finale
EAGLE POINT ' The second-ranked Eagle Point wrestling team sent its seniors out in style Thursday, notching six falls and prevailing in 13 of the 14 weight classes in a 68-4 domination of South Medford.
Eagle Point (12-3, 5-1 SOC) boasts eight seniors in its starting lineup, including Randy Pershall (125), Ricky Fletes (145), Jake McCoy (152), Brandon Price (160), Chris Platt (171), Jesse DeVette (189), Josh Smith (215) and Tyler Cam (275).
It was senior night and we had probably the best lineup that we've had all season, said EP coach Kacey McNulty. We were able to get Brandon Price in the lineup and move Jake McCoy down to 152 now so we had a strong lineup all the way through.
