The matches began at 165 pounds and the Raiders went on their roll. Kyle Temple (165 pounds) got SOU off to an early lead with a decision. Ricky Farrell (174) then recorded a major decision and Chase Locke (184) followed in kind.

Abe Ewing (197) and Skylar Massey (285) added decision victories before the match rotated to the lower weights, where Trevor Lofstedt (125) recorded a major decision for the Raiders' final win.

"Our upper weights did the job tonight and knew going in that was what it was going to take for the overall victory," said SOU head coach Mike Ritchey. "They did the job and went out and won the dual for us."
