Holiday fairs just keep on coming
A couple of the season's most well-known holiday fairs are set this weekend.
The 28th annual sale operated by the Siskiyou Woodcraft Guild starts at 9 a.m. today at the Great Hall at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 70 E. Main St., Ashland. It runs through Sunday and includes handmade musical instruments, furniture and wood carvings.
Also, the Lithia Artisans Market annual Christmas fair begins at 10 a.m. today at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St., Ashland.
More than 40 craft booths will feature handmade wares in all mediums including glass, wood, clay, metal, cloth, paper, body care, fine art and photography. Music also is planned. It runs through Sunday.
