Ashland Police & Fire Reports

Monday, 2:24 p.m. &

Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic disturbance at the Ashland Street Chevron Station. A woman contacted at the scene said she was the victim of a domestic assault two days prior at the couple's residence on Dead Indian Memorial Road. Officers arranged for the female to stay at a safe location overnight.

Monday, 7:46 p.m. &

SOU Campus Safety officers responded to a report of fireworks between the Forest Hall and Glacier Hall dorms. Officers located several plastic bottles that had been caused to explode using a chemical reaction from household components.

Tuesday, 11:25 a.m. &

A woman reported her adult brother as a missing person.

Tuesday, 2:36 p.m. &

A woman took an item from the Market of Choice and left the store without ever attempting to pay for it. She was contacted by security and brought back inside. She was then cited into Municipal Court and released. The property was returned.

Tuesday, 5:25 p.m. &

A residential burglary was reported at the 400 block of Lit Way. The case is open and under investigation.

Wednesday, 12:09 a.m. &

A Ford F250 pickup that had been reported stolen out of Central Point on Monday was recovered at the 200 block of Meadow Drive.

Wednesday, 12:09 a.m. &

It was reported that a white Plymouth Voyager van was unlawfully entered and used. The suspects involved in the previous report of a stolen truck were observed entering the van shortly after exiting the recovered stolen pickup truck.
