PBA's here, too

Those won't be the league regulars sliding across the floor today when the Professional Bowlers Association starts play in the Lumber Liquidators Earl Anthony Classic at Medford's Lava Lanes.

A qualifying round is set from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the bowling alley, 2980 Crater Lake Highway. Exempt-player practice follows from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and a pro-am session is set at 7:30 p.m. Day passes go for $15.

Bowlers in the tournament will include Sean Rash, who will return to Medford to defend his PBA champion title.
