Friday, 3:01 a.m. &

Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation the woman was placed under arrest for DUII. She was cited and released to a sober adult.

Friday, 4:27 a.m. &

A parked car on the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard was vandalized. A side view mirror was broken and the camper shell door was damaged.

Friday, 12:35 p.m. &

Officers contacted a man in the Safeway parking lot after he was reported as possibly driving intoxicated. He showed marked impairment and was arrested for DUII. His vehicle was impounded.

Friday, 1:31 p.m. &

A juvenile male was taken into non-criminal protective custody and transported to JDH after determining he was a danger to himself. The department of human service was notified and is investigating the juvenile's living conditions.

Friday, 11:41 p.m. &

An adult who was too intoxicated to care for himself was lodged in detox.

Saturday, 12:36 a.m. &

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The man's driving privileges were found to have been suspended and there was no insurance on the vehicle. He was cited and his vehicle was impounded.

Saturday, 1:12 a.m. &

An adult male was driving a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations. He was arrested for DUII. He was given a breath test with a result of .10 percent blood alcohol concentration.

Saturday, 1:34 a.m. &

A juvenile was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol.

Saturday, 3:41 a.m. &

A man was issued a citation for trespassing on the 100 block of Crispin Street. He was charged with Trespass II.

Saturday, 9:57 a.m. &

A man reported that sometime during the night, someone had punched the keyed lock on his Toyota truck and entered into his vehicle. He said nothing was stolen.

Saturday, 11:14 a.m. &

A man reported that an adult male kicked the driver side door of his green Ford Explorer. The man said that an adult male was walking his child in a stroller; the man was partially blocking the sidewalk and didn't move out of the way fast enough. Officers found the adult male several blocks away. He was cited and released.

Saturday, 2:20 p.m. &

A resident of Garfield Street reported that someone had damaged her front door. The cost to repair the damage is $100 for parts and labor.

Saturday, — p.m. &

Between 2p.m. and — p.m. an unlocked bicycle was stolen from Walker Elementary School. The bicycle was valued at $150.

Saturday, 4:37 p.m. &

An employee of Shop N Kart reported that a customer assaulted him. The employee was working when he asked two males if they needed help finding something. After an exchange of words, one of the men then punched the employee on the left side of his face and then hit him again on the right side of his face. The manager escorted the customer from the store and told him to leave prior to police arrival. Officers canvassed the area, but were not able to locate the two men. Shop N Kart will provide video of the men.

Saturday, 10:05 p.m. &

Police responded to the report of a burglary on the 1300 block of Iowa Street. When officers arrived the spoke with the resident who informed them that someone entered his residence between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. through his unlocked front door and removed about $3,400 worth of belongings from his residence. The man had no suspect information at this time and will be attempting to locate serial numbers of the stolen items.

Saturday, 10:43 p.m. &

An unknown male exposed his genitals to four female juveniles near Siskiyou Boulevard and Morse Avenue.

Sunday, 6:05 p.m. &

Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana coming from it and further suspicious circumstances. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle, which yielded two concealed semi-automatic pistols, magazines and ammunition. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Jackson County Jail where he was lodged. A passenger was cited for possession of marijuana. Another passenger was found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Sunday, 12:14 a.m. &

A woman was driving a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations. She was found to have a suspended license. The Oregon license was confiscated to be destroyed. She was cited and released for driving while suspended.
