Lithia Springs Rotary funds school supplies
The Rotary Club of Ashland — Lithia Springs help low income families defray costs of required school supplies. The club leveraged money from the Annual Crab Fest Fund Raiser to obtain a grant from Rotary District 5110.
Sixty-five gift cards were presented to the School District, Superintendent Julie Di Chiro and the principals of Ashland Elementary Schools plus John Miur School. Each card value is $20.
"We are so thankful Rotarians work hard to raise money for low-income students," Di Chiro said.
