Police searching for man

Police are searching for a man with mental-health issues who was last seen in Ashland on Wednesday, said Sgt. Jim Alderman with the Ashland Police Department.

Medford resident Ryan Cox-Bedsworth, 25, was reported missing at about 9 p.m. Monday, police said.

There is no indication that his disappearance involves foul play, Alderman said.

Cox-Bedsworth has gone missing at least once in the past and been found a week later sleeping in his truck, Alderman said.

Cox-Bedsworth is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be using a black Toyota pickup truck with the license plate number 828CPT, Alderman said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Ashland Police Department at 482-5211.
