Community Thanksgiving meals hit the table today

It's turkey time at several community meals today, so get ready to gather for food and fellowship.

The annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Medford Gospel Mission, 125 W. Jackson St., Medford will be served from 1 to 5 p.m. All are welcome at this free meal.

Kids Unlimited serves a Thanksgiving dinner for 500 kids and their families from 5 to 8 p.m. at 821 N. Riverside Ave., Medford.

First Presbyterian Church of Ashland, 615 Clark Ave., hosts a community Thanksgiving dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the church's Calvin Hall. For information about the free meal, call the church at 541-482-3536.

More meals are set for Thanksgiving day.

Calvary Temple Church provides Thanksgiving dinner to anyone who would like to attend. The meal will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, at 513 E. Pine St., Central Point. Volunteers are welcome to help. For details, call 541-664-3226.

Cafe Dejeuner will serve a holiday feast from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, at 1108 E. Main St., Medford. There is no charge, and everyone is welcome.

A free Thanksgiving meal for the homeless and anyone else who needs a place to spend the holiday will be served at noon Thursday at the Cotton Memorial picnic area off Granite Street in Lithia Park.
