Month-long cocaine manufacturing investigation concludes with two arrests
The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement — MADGE — Team arrested two Medford men Thursday morning for the possession, delivery and manufacture of controlled substances including cocaine, police said.
Ryan Williams, 19 and Ryan Reich, 23, were both arrested at 2594 Connell Ave. at 8:55 a.m. after officers served a search warrant at the residence. Both were arrested without incident and booked in the Jackson County Jail.
Officers recovered four ounces of cocaine, four ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, a rifle, a shotgun and over $800 in cash. The drugs had a street value of over $4,000.
Lt. Bob Hansen of Medford police said he couldn't comment on details of the investigation other than it had to do with dealing in the surrounding neighborhood.
Both men were arrested on charges of unlawful possession and delivery of cocaine. Williams was arrested on cocaine manufacture, too, and is held in lieu of $25,000 bail. Reich was also arrested for possession of the mushrooms and is held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
