UPDATED: Motorist critically injured in single vehicle crash
Updated 9:55 a.m.: Medford police have release the name of the man critically injured in a crash on Foothill Road Tuesday night.
Roger Lee Keller, 19, of the 3400 block of Foothill Road, remains in critical condition at Providence Medford Medical Center, police said this morning.
7:35 a.m.: A portion of Foothill Road in Medford was closed for two hours Tuesday night following a motor vehicle crash that critically injured him, police said.
Keller was driving northbound along the 2500 block of Foothill Road at 11 p.m. The car swerved off the road and crashed into a tree and a power pole. He was the only one in the vehicle.
Medford Fire and Rescue, Medford police, Oregon State Police and Pacific Power responded to the scene. The driver was pulled from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital. He is listed in critical condition for injuries sustained during the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Serious Accident Reconstruction Team.
