Child Trafficking Prevention Night set in Grants Pass
Rebecca Bender, a six-year victim of sex trafficking and now an international speaker, author, and award-winning awareness advocate, will speak and answer questions during Child Trafficking Prevention Night in Grants Pass.
Her talk will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Grants Pass High School library, 830 N.E. Ninth St., Grants Pass.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature the short documentary film "Chosen."
Abolish Child Trafficking, an outreach program of River Valley Community Church, will hold a free, one-hour informational workshop called Child Trafficking 101, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27. The location is the Club Northwest conference room, 2160 N.W. Vine St., Grants Pass.
