Moss Adams has named Jason Lukaszewicz, a 16-year veteran and partner in the firm, to head its Medford office. He succeeds Michael Lynch, who has served in the role since 2002.

Lukaszewicz joined Moss Adams in 1997 as a staff accountant following his graduation from Southern Oregon University, rising through the ranks to become a partner in 2008. A past recipient of the firm's Technical Excellence Award, Lukaszewicz specializes in manufacturing and consumer products and serves clients in the not-for-profit and financial services industries as well. He also oversees audits of employee benefit plans. Outside of Moss Adams, Lukaszewicz serves on the board of directors of the United Way of Jackson County.

Lynch, who also has led the firm's manufacturing and consumer products practice in Medford, will continue to work with clients and advise colleagues.

Moss Adams is the largest accounting and business consulting firm headquartered on the West Coast. Jack Baker, Rob Cockburn, Rick Holcom and Kelly Porter are the other partners in the Medford office.

Northwest Health Foundation has named Michael Alexander and Bill Thorndike to its board. The foundation named Rev. W.J. Mark Knutson to chair of its board. Alexander is president and chief executive officer of Urban League of Portland. Thorndike is president of his family business, Medford Fabrication, a custom steel-fabrication company.

Thorndike serves on the boards of the Oregon Business Council, Regence-Oregon BlueCross Blue Shied, Crater Lake National Park Trust, Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Inc., Oregon Economic Forum, The Oregon Idea, Philanthropy Northwest, Northwest Health Foundation and the Northwest Area Foundation. He is a former Port of Portland commissioner and past board member of Oregon Community Foundation, Asante Health System and the Portland Branch of the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank.


Bank of the Cascades has expanded its lending staff in Medford, naming Chris DuBose senior vice president and commercial loan manager at its new commercial loan center on Alder Creek Drive, and Brandi Jewett mortgage loan officer at its Crater Lake Highway branch.

DuBose, formerly with Washington Mutual and Sterling Bank, has a degree in business administration from Southern Oregon University, and more than a decade of banking expertise.

Jewett brings nearly a decade of managerial and lending experience from JP Morgan Chase and US Bank.
