Free tax preparation available for people with low to moderate income
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is providing free tax preparation assistance for taxpayers with low to moderate incomes. Those taking advantage of the service should bring government issued identification, last year's tax return, Social Security cards or other documentation for the filer and all dependents, and a checkbook or preprinted direct deposit information for direct deposited refunds.

Tax preparation assistance is offered at the following:
Ascension Lutheran Church, 675 Black Oak Drive. Walk-ins only 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Fridays (Closed Feb. 21).
Medford Senior Center, 510 E. Main St. By appointment only, 541-772-2273.
Rogue Valley Mall, 1600 N. Riverside Ave., Unit 2145. Walk-ins welcome 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
The Grove, 1195 E. Main St. Walk-ins welcome 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays.
Phoenix library, 510 First St. Walk-ins welcome 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
