For the ultimate in elegance, this property delivers. A few miles outside of Ashland, off Highway 66, this grand, French-style chateau presides over the vineyards and valley below with breathtaking views. The Belle Fiore chateau and terrace are available late May through mid October and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The wine pavilion offers both indoor and outdoor options to accommodate up to 150 guests for the ceremony and 300 guests for a seated reception. The newly completed Numinos Room can host up to 500 guests. Pricing runs from $3,950 for fewer than 100 guests on a weekday to $8,950 for 300 guests on Saturdays and holidays, plus 20 percent gratuity. Cost includes set up and clean-up, bar service, tables and chairs, linens and an onsite manager.

For a beautiful, low-cost setting, it's hard to beat Ashland's Lithia Park. From May 1 through Sept. 30, the bride may reserve one of eight areas listed on the website, though walkways remain open to pedestrians. A price of $1,150 includes the park site plus use of the Community Center or Pioneer Hall all day. There's a nonrefundable alcohol fee of $150 and a refundable security deposit of $300. A park site only runs $800 for eight hours or $400 for four hours, plus a $75 refundable security deposit. Recreation Superintendent Rachel Dials said that for very small, nonreserved weddings, the park is free. Call beforehand to make sure no one else has reserved the area.

Easy Street Weddings


Finally, there's the have-vows-will-travel option, a licensed individual who will come to you most anywhere. The Rev. Charles Street, of Easy Street Weddings, charges $200 for a basic ceremony within Medford and 50 cents per mile beyond. His website lists additional venues.
