SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Alex Pommerville's overtime goal gave the Salt Lake City Moose a 3-2 triumph over the Southern Oregon Spartans in the Western States Hockey League on Saturday.

Southern Oregon jumped out to a 2-0 lead on first-period goals by Arturs Buss and Carl Edstrom before the Moose rattled off three unanswered scores.

Salt Lake City outshot Southern Oregon, 35-28.

Spartans goalkeeper Ian Dvorak had 32 saves.
