City continues to offer child care during strike
The Medford Parks and Recreation Department is continuing to offer child care during the Medford School district teachers' strike, and will operate each day of the strike until a resolution is reached.
Two sessions will be available daily at the Santo Community Center to accommodate both morning and afternoon students, with session 1 operating from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and session 2 running from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each session will be led by camp staff and limited to 20 students.
The cost to register is $10 per session (or $20 per day), with sign-ups taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations may be made by calling 541-774-2400 or online at playmedford.com by searching for the "We're Here for You" camps.
