OFFICERS KILLED in the line of duty will be remembered when the Jackson County Sheriff's Department hosts the annual Jackson County Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. at the August D. Singler Plaza in Medford. The plaza is between the Jackson County Courthouse and the Jackson County Jail. The public is invited to the ceremony, which will include an invocation, color guard ceremony and bagpipe performance, along with speeches.

UO AND CRATER STUDENTS team up for performances at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Crater Performing Arts Center, 655 N. Third St., Central Point.
